  • Complete guide: Generate more traffic for your lead generation.

  • The basis for new customers are visitors
This is how you get numerous visitors

  • The basis for lead generation is the existence of traffic, i.e. visitors on your channels (social media and website). Traffic can be generated in various ways, such as inbound or outbound marketing. In the following, we will show you the two best ways to generate more traffic quickly and easily.

The fastest way to gain reach is through paid advertisements and campaigns. In just a few steps, you can create and advertise your first campaigns on social media. The advantage is that you can reach a large number of potential customers for very little money. At the same time, the investment in advertising pays off after an extremely short time, as you can increase your conversion by up to 423% with smashleads™.

  • Create Facebook Ad

  • Create company profile on Facebook

  • You must have a company page on Facebook. If you don't have one yet, you can create one in just a few minutes.

  • Advertising account setup

  • The advertising account is used to create and manage your ads, as well as for billing by Facebook. You should use Facebook's Business Manager for your business.

  • 1. Create campaign

  • Click the "Create Campaign" button, in your Ad Manager, to create a new advertising campaign.

  • Now select the target for your campaign. If you move your mouse over the different options, you can get details by the small "i". To bring new visitors to your site, let's now select the "Traffic" goal. Give your campaign a meaningful name. For example, it is recommended to mention the goal already in the name: "Visitors blog post XY" or "Conversions landing page ABC".

  • 2. Create the ad audience

  • In the ad groups, you define your target group, the budget and the duration of your campaign. If you want to test different target groups to see which one has a better conversion, first create an ad group with different ad variants, which you later only have to copy and adjust in the desired places. Make sure that you do not use multiple ad groups with the same target group in one campaign!

Now select which target group you want to address. Here you have the option to use existing saved audiences in later campaigns.

For your new audience, you can either use Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences or define your audience based on demographics and interests.

For the latter option, first specify the locations where your audience is located. This can be one or more countries, states, and cities.

  • Specify target group further

  • In the next step, you can specify your target group even further. Each of these categories has further restriction options, so that, for example, in the "Behavior" category, people who are currently traveling can be addressed via the "Travel" group.

  • Determine the right target group size

  • For your ads to perform well on Facebook, the right audience size is elementary. Unfortunately, there are no clear indications from Facebook as to how big is "big enough" or "too big". Ideally, the pointer should point to the center of the green field.

  • Determine placement

  • In the Placements item you choose where your ad should appear. Here you can simply select the automatic definition.

  • Set budget and schedule

  • Now define in which period your ad should be displayed and which budget you have available for it. Select "runtime budget" so that Facebook can distribute the budget evenly over the entire period. Facebook should automatically suggest the other settings, as the figure shows. In our example, it is important that you set the account charge to "link click". This way, you will only be charged for actual clicks to your page.

  • 3. Design advertisement

  • Let's say you want to create an ad with an image, then this ad is structured as follows:

  • Missing Image

  • First, upload the correct image. Check that the correct Facebook page is displayed, under whose name the ad should appear.

  • Missing Image

  • In the "Target page" field, enter the URL of the page to which your ad should link. You can choose the link that is actually displayed in the ad further down in the "Displayed link" field. Now enter your title, the text and the description. You also have the option to choose between different button texts or no button at all. If you like the ad, click on "Review order". You will then get an overview of all ad details. You can now save the ad as a draft or upload it directly. You will then land in the campaign overview.

  • Create test series for best results

  • Now you should create the prepared ad variants. To do this, select the ad you just created in the "Ads" tab in the editor and then click "Duplicate". Create several copies of your ad and change the texts there, for example. We recommend testing three or four different texts with three or four different images, so that 12 or 16 slightly different ads compete in the same ad group.

  • Missing Image

  • You can also create copies of your ad group using the same principle. When you have completed all the elements, click the green "Review changes" button at the top right. Then the ads will be uploaded and reviewed by Facebook. After some time, you will receive a notification from Facebook if the ads have been approved. From then on, your campaign will run and you can wait for the first results!

  • Content marketing for more traffic

  • Generate more traffic via good content
    We show you how!

  • Content marketing is a longer-term measure to gain reach and, above all, relevance with your website. We recommend it in combination with the previously discussed Facebook campaigns. Content marketing is about presenting valuable content to your visitors, through which they receive added value. Based on the content, your website will quickly gain relevance and more and more people will find their way to it.

A good place to start is always the blog. Write articles relevant to the topic and thus gain a large readership. Thereby there are enough topics from the real estate industry, about which you can report. The most important thing is: Put yourself in your target group and your target customers when writing. Since content marketing is an activity that only becomes visible after 6 months, you should start your campaigns and content marketing at the same time.
